Celebrated the first night in BKK eating a cricket (mmm), drinking champagne (the air hostess gave it to me cause I swapped my seat with someone else!) and watching the sun rise on a roof top.
After 3days in the capital, I made it to to Phuket (VIP night bus where the only programmes they were playing on the tv where Thai ones... ehm, not funny). It's been raining on and off (so humid!) but finally made it to the beach today - was like a child, jumping and kicking the sand!
Plan is more beaches tomorrow and the day after tomorrow and the day after the day after tomorrow!
Oh, yeah - not to mention the Thai beers and the Thai food.
